Trenton Taxpayers: 

Tax payments are due January 31, 2025. To avoid interest and penalties, payments must be postmarked 1-31-25.

To pay in person, you may come to the Town Hall during the following dates and times:

DECEMBER 30 – MONDAY 11:00AM – 5:00PM

JANUARY 31 – FRIDAY 12:00PM – 5:00PM

To pay by mail and receive a receipt, send payment stub(s), a check made out to the Town of Trenton and a self-addressed stamped envelope to:

Dog Licensing: To license your dog include $10 for male and female dogs and $5 for spayed and neutered dogs. A Kennel licenses is available for $50 and allows you to keep up to 12 dogs (send a separate check for kennels). Be sure to include current rabies shot information. A $2 late fee will be added for dogs licensed after April 1.

Splits: If you sold a portion of a parcel during 2024, please contact me. In these situations new tax bills need to be calculated.

Escrow checks: If your escrow check is made out for more than the amount on your tax bill, you will be refunded within 15 business days.

Lottery and Gaming Credit: https://wwwrevenue.wi.gov/Pages/FAQS/slf-lottcr.aspx. You are eligible for the credit if you lived in your home as your primary residence as of January 1, 2024.
