Trenton Taxpayers:

Tax payments are due January 31, 2026. To avoid interest and penalties, payments must be postmarked 1-31-26. And to ensure the desired postmark, manually deliver you payment to the post office and have them stamp the postal date.

To pay in person, you may come to the Town Hall during the following dates and times:

DECEMBER 29 – MONDAY 11:00AM – 5:00PM

JANUARY 31 – SATURDAY 9:00PM – 2:00PM

To pay by mail and receive a receipt, send payment stub(s), a check made out to the Town of Trenton and a self-addressed stamped envelope to:

Dog Licensing: To license your dog include $10 for male and female dogs and $5 for spayed and neutered dogs. A Kennel licenses is available for $50 and allows you to keep up to 12 dogs (send a separate check for kennels). Be sure to include current rabies shot information. A $2 late fee will be added for dogs licensed after April 1.

Escrow checks: If your escrow check is made out for more than the amount on your tax bill, you will be refunded within 15 business days.

Lottery and Gaming Credit: https://wwwrevenue.wi.gov/Pages/FAQS/slf-lottcr.aspx. You are eligible for the credit if you lived in your home as your primary residence as of January 1, 2025.
